How to send back your empty cylinders

We take any brand of standard 425g / 60L CO2 cylinder, screw-in, click-in or Quooker. You don't need to have bought them from us. There are three ways to send them back.

1. Collected from your door (€7 per box)#

• Book on our collection booking page: https://www.faerly.ie/products/book-a-pick-up-from-home-dpd-collection-for-co2-gas-returns. Tell us how many cylinders you're returning, which days of the week suit you, where to collect from and a safe place if you might be out. You can book a collection on its own or add it to a gas order.
• We email your return label straight after you book, then your collection date and DPD reference, usually by the next working morning. Need a different day? Reply to that email with the weekday that suits.
• Have your box ready from 8am. DPD usually calls between 9am and 6pm. A specific time can't be chosen, and the driver won't usually phone ahead.
• Won't be in? Give us a safe place when booking, or reply to your confirmation email in advance. DPD won't collect an unattended box unless a safe place has been arranged, even if it's easy to see.
• 2 to 12 cylinders per box. 13 to 24 is two boxes (€14). More than 24? Get in touch and we'll arrange it.

2. Drop them to a DPD Pickup Shop (€7 per box, paid to DPD)#

1. Open the DPD returns portal (https://dpd.ie/Returns#/) and choose Continue as Guest.
2. Pick FAERLY as the retailer and Equipment Returns as the reason.
3. Enter your last Faerly order number or your email address as the reference.
4. Choose Medium parcel and pay DPD. The price is set by DPD and moves a little with fuel surcharges.
5. Print the Pickup Shop label. It has to be this label, not a home collection one.
6. Drop the box to the shop and keep your receipt.

Each shop is collected by DPD on its own schedule, so these can take a little longer to reach us.

3. Drop them into Faerly HQ (free)#

No minimum, so even one empty is welcome. We're at Unit 1033 Nicholastown, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare, R56 Y299, Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. Just email hello@faerly.ie first so we know you're coming. See "Collecting from or dropping off at Faerly HQ" for directions.

Your credit#

We usually email your €10 credit for each accepted cylinder within 3 working days of your collection, or of your box reaching us.

Common questions#

• Can DPD take my empties when they deliver my new cylinders? Not usually. DPD runs collections and deliveries on separate routes, often on different days with different drivers, so they're booked separately.
• I don't have a printer. Write your name and order number clearly on the box, and the DPD driver will add their own label.
• I only have one empty. Home collection and Pickup Shop returns start at 2 cylinders, so most people hang on to it until the next one runs out. Or drop it into HQ for free.
• I paid for more than one collection by mistake. One box takes up to 12 cylinders, so most people only need one. Let us know and we'll refund any extra bookings you don't need.
• I booked a home collection but want to use a Pickup Shop. Get in touch first. We'll cancel the collection and refund it, then you can book directly with DPD.
• Damaged or rusted cylinders can't get credit. We'll still send them for recycling.
• Not using your machine any more? Please don't bin the cylinders. Send them back and we'll make sure they're reused or recycled.
