We don't send out empty boxes, as posting a box just so it can be filled and sent back isn't environmentally sound. The best box to use is the one your gas arrived in, so keep it. Our 2 and 4-pack boxes are made from upcycled cardboard from the bottling industry, so they're already on their second life.
Packing checklist
- Use one single, sturdy box, strong enough for the weight and compact enough that the cylinders fit snugly. Amazon boxes are usually too thin.
- Pack 2 to 12 cylinders per box. 13 to 24 need two boxes.
- Fill any gaps so the cylinders can't move or roll.
- Tape the box securely closed. Please don't send cylinders in a plastic bag or wrapped only in plastic or paper.
- Remove or cover any old shipping labels and barcodes so DPD scans the right one.
- Write your name, email address or order number on the box or label.

- Only send the number of boxes you booked, as DPD charges for every box.
No printer? That's fine for home collection. Write your name and order number clearly on the box, along with our return address, and the DPD driver will attach a tracking label. Pickup Shop returns do need the printed Pickup Shop label.
