What happens next. We're a small team, and we look at new brand and product submissions in batches rather than as they land. That means it can take us a while to come back to you, so please don't be discouraged if you don't hear back from us straight away. It isn't a reflection on what you've sent, it's simply the pace we're able to work at. We'll review it properly and get in touch if we'd like to know more.
Following up. If a good stretch of time passes and you haven't heard anything, please do follow up. We'd much rather that than lose track of something good. One gentle nudge is plenty though. If you've sent several follow-ups close together, it almost certainly just means we haven't had a chance to get to your email yet.
Why we sometimes say no. We carry a wide range and we're always adding to it, but we also work with a lot of makers across certain categories. So there are times when a genuinely lovely product isn't a fit for us simply because we already stock something similar. If that turns out to be the case, it says nothing at all about the quality of what you've made.
I'm looking for a donation or support for a charity
Thank you so much for thinking of us. We receive a huge number of requests from wonderful charities and community projects. While we'd love to support them all, as a small business we just don't have the resources, so we focus our giving where we can make the biggest difference. Unfortunately, that means saying no to many worthwhile requests we'd otherwise be delighted to support.
